You have been invited to attend the following event:
RMC/EPF Community webinar: Eclipse plugin to generate documents and mind maps from EPF/RMC content
Event Date: Nov 14, 2013
Event Time: 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM (Eastern Time)
Hosted By: MACISAAC BRUCE (IBM)
Presented By: Regis Coqueret (Unisys Global Managed Services)

Presenter: Régis Coqueret is Executive Architect with Unisys Global Managed Services, member of the Portfolio Technology Office. He runs a global team of architects and analysts, and is currently working on rolling out global enterprise services catalog and knowledge management solutions.

Abstract: EPF/RMC is a powerful tool to support the construction of various bodies of knowledge, with built in capabilities to publish the content as static web sites. However, adoption of the tool in organizations who are still focused on a document based approach is facing serious challenges. Transitioning from documents to pure web based content is challenging both for content reviewers and content consumers. To alleviate this concern, and overcome limitations associated with the usage of RMC and BIRT, an Eclipse plugin has been developed to allow the export of EPF or RMC content in various formats, to ensure easier adoption of the tool, to support document based content validation, and to allow dissemination of the content through documents. Export formats are plain HTML, Excel, FreeMind, Mind Manager, images.
