Re: [epf-dev] A new plug-in for Service-Oriented Development Processes

Hi Mahdi,

A few people joined the EPF call earlier and unfortunately you were not able to join. I wonder if you had any issues with the conference number I provided.
In any case, your topic is very interesting and we want to hear about it. Maybe we can schedule it for the next month's call (5/10)?

Just to clarify the process, since you mentioned the intent to make the material publicly available, we'd like to have you show us the material, then we can discuss how to move it forward through due diligence by Eclipse legal. Once Eclipse legal accepts the contribution, we can formally make it available for download in the EPF web site.  These steps can take from a few to several weeks, depending on Eclipse organization workload.
The complete due diligence process is explained here: http://www.eclipse.org/legal/EclipseLegalProcessPoster.pdf

Please let us know if you have questions or comments.
Thanks!!

To whom it may concern,
My name is Mahdi Fahmideh. I am a software engineering researcher. I and my colleagues have conducted a research project in which a set of best practices have been defined in order to develop service-oriented system. Particularly, our proposed practices are in the template of EPFC tools, as plug-in, including method contents, roles, work products. These practices have been meticulously and systematically extracted from prominent service-oriented methodologies such IBM SOMA, SUN RQ, IBM RUP for SOA, Erl’s methodology. I and my co-authors have being spent approximately 2 years in order to develop such comprehensive plug-in. Meanwhile, a variant of our research has been published in journal of Systems and Software Systems Modeling as one of the credible ISI software engineering journals.
Having said that, we are going to share this distilled knowledge with other practitioners and even improve it continuously by aiding EPFC community. The plug-in is similar to Scrum, XP or OPEN/UP plug-ins which are globally available and downloadable  in [1] . We appreciate if other members can help us to complete and continuous improvement the plug-in during the time.
Could you please help me how can I upload and share our SOA plug-in for EPFC community so that it become available in link [1].
I certainly appreciate for your guide.
