Re: [epf-dev] Method for Authoring a Method

Hi Jeff,

MAM has been replaced by the capability improvement practices.
These practices are described in the attached deck, which should also give you a good idea of what's been added/extended to the EPF mdev practice.

These practices are available to Rational Method Composer customers as part of the latest RMC Practices library.

Bruce/Ricardo,

Thanks for your responses,  I am already aware of of the mdev plug-in in which comes with the EPF Practices Library, what are the main differences between the MAM and the mdev Practice?

Bruce I would be very interested in seeing the new materials if they are available.

Jeff.

Hi Jeff,

In case you are interested, IBM has extended the open source method authoring practice with tasks for architecting and deploying methods, as well as additional practices for governance and adoption.

If you are interested in more information, let me know.

Hi Jeff,

The Method Development practice is available with the other EPF Practices (see how it looks like in the EPF Wiki:

You can download the latest EPF Practices library from here:

Hi EPF Dev,

Are the Method for Authoring a Method source plug-ins available anywhere for download?

I cannot find them on the Eclipse downloads page.

Jeff
