Hi Chris,
much thanks for your answer !
One question remains, wouldn't EPF let me add a new one or change
the Configuration after my CP/DP be created with --None-- ?
At least on my version of EPF here, for those processes that don't
have one configuration set up, I have to delete and create them
again...
This happen with you too ? or maybe am I doing something wrong?
cheers
Cristiano

Hi Cristiano,
The default configuration of
--None--
is a new feature introduced in EPF Composer 1.5.1.
Prior to this release, every
capability
pattern or delivery process had to be associated with a default
configuration.
This meant that the CP/DP could only be used in the default
configuration
or a superset of the default configuration, which severely
limited reuse.
With the new feature, called
"Configuration
free process" one can create a CP/DP that is not associated with
any
default configuration. You can add any element from anywhere in
the
library to these CP/DP. When browsing or publishing, the
realized
CP/DP will only contain the elements that are in the current
configuration...those
elements not in the current configuration are
suppressed/ignored.
So basically, you define a
configuration
free process without regard to any default configuration and
what you get
when you publish is what you would expect based on the selected
configuration
for publishing (or browsing).
I hope this helps.
Cheers,
Chris

Hi people,
I would like to take out one doubt from my head.
I've created one delivery process without have specified a
default configuration.
I can see at configurations folder this:
-- None -- (default)
But the buttons "Add...", "Remove", "Make Default"
are all disable.
This means that I can define a default configuration for a
delivery process
only when I'm creating it ?
thanks
Cristiano
