[epf-dev] EPF Content status call - meeting notes

Content Status call
7/9/2008 - 8AM PDT

Participants:
Steve Adolph
Felix de Onandia
Per Kroll
Kim Werner
Ricardo Balduino

ACTIONS

Practice owners to list their high priority work items and send to this distribution list before Wednesday, 7/16, 8:00AM PDT, so we can prioritize the list during the next status call.
The prioritized work items list will be used during the F2F meeting, and work will be done on the high priority items.

AGENDA

Status Report:

PM Practices - Ana couldn't attend the call. Ricardo reported status. From the 32 bugs planned for the release, 25 have been closed, 3 are between resolved and verified, only 4 are left to be completed in M4. Estimate to complete everything in M4.
ED: new bugs opened by Jim. Kim questions the validity of those bugs and will discuss with Jim. Kim reported no change on status since last week. It's tight schedule until the release date, but Kim is confident they can finish it.
TDD - Kim is concerned with this practice, as there aren't many people working on it
CI practice - Chris couldn't attend by sent email with status. Since last week, he resolved two work items related to the CI practice.  Bruce MacIsaac verified them both, but one needs a bit more work before it can be closed. He has three more work items scheduled for this iteration.

Face-to-face meeting in Vancouver:

Kim, Nate, Ken from ATS will attend.
Bruce (IBM) is planning to attend.
Steve will attend.

Proposed agenda:
- Write content, review and close high priority work items in all practices (this should take most of the F2F time).
- Discuss outreach, enablement, and deployment of OpenUP and Practice Library. Certification - is it valuable, do we want to provide it?
- Propose high level vision for next release

Discussed alternatives to practice name "whole team":
- Harmonious initiative
- Team Collaboration
- Self-organized teams or Team Self organization
- Integrated Team or Team Integration
- Team Work

We will continue bringing up ideas and close discussion on next couple of weeks.
