Re: [epf-dev] Re: Creating new icon/element within Guidance

Hi Esti,

The element types are defined by SPEM, and EPFC realizes the SPEM metamodel. It sounds like you might need to modify the tool in order to do what you want, but perhaps there's a feature I don't know about that will allow you to do what you want. Jao Tham and Peter Haumer know the tool very well, so they may be able to help you out. They monitor this forum too.

Hi Jim,

Thanks for the reply.
I did what you suggested, but it did not change the name.
I want to create an icon that represents a Milestone and I want this icon to have a title "Milestone" in the published process. Just like Roadmap, Template, Guideline, or anything else in the Guidance.

Then, how do I do add this new Milestone icon to the Guidance list, so when I click on Guidance, I have the Milestone icon and I can use it to create a new Milestone.

Appreciate any help on this.
Thank you.

HI Esti,

If you want to add your own icon to an element on the tree browser, open
the element in EPFC and scroll to the bottom of the "Description" tab.
There are buttons to add large and small icons that will represent the
element.

[epf-dev] Creating new element within Guidance

Hi,
I would like to create a new element/icon within "Guidance" and I want
that this newly created icon/element is added to list.
How do I do that?
