I am copying my earlier response here. Unfortunately we don't have any written doc/guideline. If you just use default preferences EPF comes up, you will be ok. EPF is an open-source project. If you want to contribute/help us in writing a guideline, we would really appreciate it :) If you could be more specifc about which preference you want to know more, we can answer that.

Most of these preferences come from Eclipse itself. If you have standard Eclipse installed, you should be able to find out enough information about those in the Eclipse Help .

EPF only contributes preferences under "Method" option. Unfortunately, we don't have single topic about setting up preferences. Description for those options is scattered in EPF help. If you do search for "preferences" under EPF help, you will find information regd. preference option such as publishing->activity diagrams etc.

Furthermore, If you want to know more about specific preference, please ask on EPF newsgroup and we will try to answer it there.

Hello Everyone,

In EPF menu, under "Window", there is "Preferences" sub-menu, in which we can setup our own preferences.

I was not sure about some of the subjects in the Preferences menu. So I went to the EPF "Help" but I could not find topic about setting up preferences.

Do any of you have the help file or guideline for setting up preferences?
