Re: [epf-dev] EPF Composer 1.2.0 M2 released!

In case you run into the same situation I ran to launch EPF Composer 1.2.0 M2, here are some tips:

First of all, you need Java Runtime Environment 1.5 in your machine.
In case you have multiple versions of JRE installed in your machine, you need to launch Composer specifying what JRE to look for.
You may want to create a shortcut like that:
"C:\Program Files\EPF Composer\1.2.0 M2\epf-composer\epf.exe" -vm "C:\Program Files\IBM\Java50\jre\bin\javaw.exe"

You just need to replace the path above by the actual install path of Composer and JRE 1.5 in your machine.

The OpenUP library has been now migrated to EPF Composer 1.2.0 M2.

Content authors, please upgrade to this new version of Composer at your earliest convenience.

The library in CVS will not open using previous versions of Composer.

The weekly build has been created and made available on EPF web site downloads area.

OpenUP content authors,

We are having a quick turnaround on the bug listed below, and we MAY BE able to upgrade to 1.2.0 M2 pretty soon (but not just yet :-))

In order to do that I need the whole OpenUP library in a stable state, with no pending commits. If you have files checked out, please consider committing them by 2PM PDT today.

I'll let you know the results and when to upgrade to this new release.

OpenUP content authors,

Please let's not upgrade to this version yet.
We are trying to fine tune some issues that happen in the OpenUP library after it is migrated by the tool. See this bug for more details: https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=182844

Let's keep using the 1.0.2 release for authoring OpenUP content. I'll keep you posted on when to upgrade.
