| Re: [epf-dev] BUP , OpenUP and OpenUP/Basic.. |
Hi Felipe,
You've pretty much got it already.
BUP was renamed OpenUP earlier this year.
OpenUP/Basic is a subset of OpenUP that represents a minimal and complete software development process. It is also intended to be the core of the OpenUP method library, which can be extended by adding plug-ins. You can see an early example of a plugin with Scott Ambler's Agile Data Modelling plugin (Scott will be by any moment now with the URL... :-) ). There is also one due out very soon from DSDM, which I am working on.
I hope that answers your question. More info is available on www.eclipse.org/epf of course.
Cheers

Subject: [epf-dev] BUP , OpenUP and OpenUP/Basic..
Hello,
I would like to know the relation between the BUP, OpenUP and the OpenUP/Basic.
The three build the same concept?? Because the BUP was rename to OpenUP and I read that OpenUP/Basic is the subset of OpenUP.
I would like to know the difference between of three?!!!
Attention...
