Hi Bruce,
I am fine with this for Requirements and Change Management
content.
Cheers,
Chris
Here are some proposed dates for
which content will be frozen for copyedits. Any concerns with these dates? Requirements Change
management Development (roles, tasks,
and work product only)
- Now thru Sept 5 Architecture - Sept 5-7 Implementation - Sept 7-11 Development (remainder) - Sept 11-13 Implementation - Sept 13-15 Test
- Sept 15-19 PM - Sept 19-21
General - Sept 21-25 additional copyedits may occur on revisions after Sept
25 On the start date of each of
these periods, Ricardo will grab a snapshot of the files, send for copyedit, and
on the last day import back into the library. He will also post the redlined changes (Ricardo - can you create a
bugzilla entry for each area, and post it there) so everyone knows what was
changed, and can make corrections if they need to. Bruce MacIsaac

| [epf-dev] Review of key Development
content |
|
hiho,
I have scheduled a review of some development content.
The live review will take place at 8am pacific time on Tuesday, September
5. The conference call will use the logistics below:
Toll-free dial-in:
1-800-453-7958
Toll dial-in: 1-719-955-6100
<For IBMers> Tie-line
dial-in: 650-2017
Participant passcode: 776884
I would like to review
four elements. It has been said that three elements is the right amount
for an hour meeting, but I'm hoping that the role included here doesn't cause
much commotion. And many of the committers and contributors have seen
these elements before... though with some commotion...
The elements are
organized around the act of designing while excluding the notion of visual
modeling (that is dealt with as an extension of this design methodology
content). Here are the bugs for the four cohesive elements that make up
the content to be
reviewed:
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=145171
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=147148
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=147149
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=147150
The
elements have been peer reviewed. This review should identify a final set
of open issues to be settled before the content is considered Closed and ready
to be included in the September 30 release.
I have attached an MS-Word
version of the content as published to each of the bugs. If you can
support the review - either live on the call or even just by submitting comments
- please download copies of the files and mark them up with Track Changes turned
on. Note that I had planned to upload them with Track Changes already on,
but I forgot; don't forget to turn it on before marking up the
doc.
