Hello all, Based on our discussions and approval of Bugzilla entry https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=152354,
we’ve refactored OpenUP/Basic into four sub-processes (Collaboration,
Intent, Solution, Management) with two supporting packages (Templates and Tool
Mentors). Attached is a document that lists 25 important items that needed to
be moved or modified to conform to our new architectural constraints. These are
not the only changes that were made. They’re changes that content owners
may not have known needed to be made, but had to be made to properly refactor
OpenUP. All the discipline leads should review the document to
identify any areas they think need to be further refined to restore any relationships
that were inappropriately changed. Please do
this within the next few days so we can move forward with
confidence. Note that the Test discipline was the most difficult one to
refactor because it needed to be split across two packages (Task: Create Test
Cases needed to be in the Intent package per our discussions). Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about what
