Subject: [epf-dev] VOTE: Chris Armstrong as EPF Committer

Hi,

many have been very surprised to find Chris Armstrong not to be a committer, and me sending out this vote request is long overdue. As many of you already know, he has played a leading role for OpenUP, taking on the lead for PM content.  Below you find a list of his contributions.

Committers, please respond to this e-mail with your yes, obstain, or no vote.

I vote yes through this note.

Among his contributions you find:
- Attended four F2F meetings
- Provided quotes to press on EPF launch
- Volunteered to lead OpenUP project management content development
(transitioned from Kirti V.)
- Conducted detailed review of OpenUP PM content and submitted 60+ Bugzilla
items (related to PM and overall website and tool)
- Facilitating ongoing PM conference calls (7+ since May)
- Participating in architecture, requirements, development, and general conf
calls
- Driving resolution of PM item #137120 (Work Item List and all that)
 - Drafted several PowerPoint presentations describing proposed approaches
 - Facilitated F2F and conf call discussions
 - Drafted examples and templates for EPF OpenUP content PM activities
 - Working with EPF PM leadership to align with OpenUP PM practices
- Looking for OpenUP pilot projects within APG client base
- Participating in EPF outreach activities
 - Presented on EPF at RSDC 2006 in Miami in June
 - Evangelized EPF at APG exhibit booth at RSDC 2006 and facilitated BoF
 - Presented EPF to The Open Group
 - Presenting on EPF at IT Architecture Practitioners Conference and
Architecture & Design World in July
 - Evangelizing EPF at APG exhibit booth at Agile 2006 conference in July
 - Participating in EPF BoF at Agile 2006
 - Submitted EPF proposals to OOP 2007 (Jan 2007)
- Co-submmitter with IBM on project at The Open Group to capture TOGAF
Architecture Development Method in EPF
- Supporting evolution of SPEM 2.0 specification at OMG
 - Evangelizing EPF at OMG events
- Closed bug #138753

Thanks
