RE: [epf-dev] European F2F 19-21 June

Ok. I agree with Per. I will make a 1-wa presentation to show what we have and then have some more detail discussion!!! Lets make it that way.

	Jason,

I expect to have feedback from IBM on your MDA content for this meeting, and would favor a breakout session for interested parties. It is probably good to take a "1-way presentation" on what you have for the entire audience, and then have more detailed discussions as a breakout.

	My 2 cents

	Hi Mark et al.:

I propose that we all clarify our interests before the meeting. In order to help Mark in defining the Agenda.

ESI (my) main interest is defining future actions regarding the OpenUP/MDD plug-in therefore I would rather use the meeting to identify people interested in discussing the actual content of MDD. I think that there is no point in making a presentation of the MDD plug-in itself but rather have a meeting to discuss what is missing, wrong, extrange and how to address it. Therefore I suggest that those interested take a look at the OpenUP/MDD plug-in previous to the meeting, so we can get to concrete actions.

In this sense, in the meeting in Bilbao, both IBM and Cap Gemini, showed interest around MDD and in this plug-in. So far only Jim has provided valuable feedback. Is there still an interest from Cap Gemini in developing there own plug-in or contributing to this? Any other partner interested?

We have made a new version of the OpenUP/MDD plug-in addressing the improvements proposed by Jim. It can be found at:

	https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=138867

I think that if no one has analysed the content, it may be really difficult to get any real useful results from the meeting, with respect to the OpenUP/MDD plug-in.

Mark if there is several partners that are interested in analyzing the OpenUP/MDD plug-in content. I propose having some time for this. If this is so, I will be arriving on Monday 19th around 10:45 in Heathrow so I do not really know what I will take to get to Xansa premises (any hint - by taxi) and I have my plain back the 20th from Heathrow airport at 17:40 so I do need to know what time to leave.

Another issue I would like to raise, is whether the meeting will be more targeting ending M3 and planning M4. I guess the main issues will be freezing the structure of OpenUP/Basic and Agile/XP. Is this so Ricardo? If this is the case maybe my participation and addressing the OpenUP/MDD plug-in maybe sort of disrupting the achievement of these Milestones.

So far ESI involvement in the OpenUP/Basic, even though initially I said we should contribute to the Architecture Discipline, this has not been so, so far. So I do not see a clear role (at this stage after not reacting in early phases) of me at the meeting if only the OpenUP/Basic is addressed.

Any reactions? I am just trying to help Mark a bit and have clear idea of what the objectives of the meeting are.

	Best regards:

	Jason

	Hi

We need to start finalising the attendee list for this meeting and build an agenda.

	I have the following people currently down to attend;
	        Name Organisation
	1 Jean-Paul Quenet 7irene
	2 Per Kroll IBM
	3 Chris Armstrong aprocessGroup
	4 Ana Valente Pereira Whatever
	5 Mark Dickson Xansa
	6 Cees Michielson Telelogic
	7 Chris Armstrong APG

	12 Jason Mansell ESI
	13 Julian Holmes Cap Gemini

I think this is everyone who has responded so far. Apologies if you have contacted me and you're not on the list - please get in touch. I have spoken to Julian but I can't recall if he is coming himself or sending someone from his team. Julian - could you let me know please?

There's still room for others to attend - we have a capacity of around 25.
If you would like to come, please get in touch. The meeting is at Xansa's office in Reading, so I will need to get a security pass made up and arrange car parking if you need it.

So far, only Ana has asked for an agenda slot. If you would like one, please ask.

	cheers
