hiho, We have a number of bugs open against the development
package. At this point, they are at a level of granularity appropriate for
people to take responsibility (i.e. a handful of cohesive elements). We
need to find out who would like to take on some authoring responsibility and
then break them out into a proper one-bug-per-element level so that we can
monitor progress. Contributors need not be official commiters. You just
need to have a bugzilla account (you can create it here: https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/createaccount.cgi).
Don’t feel that taking on a portion of the process is an arduous
task. It is fine if you just want to do a first cut at content for a task
or guideline. As the commiter responsible for the package, I will accept
any content posted through bugzilla and get it into the baseline for review and
acceptance into the next release. This is a great opportunity to make sure this process derives
from a mandate from the masses (not from some farcical aquatic ceremony –
sorry, nerd Tourette there). The committers would love to see broad
participation in this from people out there applying these techniques. We
have our perspectives from our experience, we need yours. Below is an overview of the key areas. Please reply to
