Good point, Scott. There is an official announcement sent by Per to this list on 4/24 (http://dev.eclipse.org/mhonarc/lists/epf-dev/msg00355.html).
I guess it is worth to point this out on the project web site, so you can make a reference from your "History of the UP".

Regarding appearances of the name BUP, I'll take a look at that.

maintain a "History of the UP" page at www.enterpriseunifiedprocess.com
which I should update with the link (if any).
