Ok, let me propose a date and time for
a conference call which every other interested committer can join as well.
You could walk us through the content you want to convert and the
problems you encountered so far. I can then demonstrate some of the
tool capabilities to get you started
We can use this web conference system
(Don to start the "Full Version" to share his screen):
1. Go
to http://cpc.on.raindance.com
(new URL!)
2. Click
on "Join Unscheduled Meeting" on the left
3. Enter
your details and the following conference ID: 2816556. Further, if you
are planning to present something during the meeting select the "Full
Version" radio button, otherwise select the "Light Version"
button, click "Join now"
4. Raindance
will check your system and might prompt you to install a few files. It
will then bring up the conference tool.
5. Dial
the following phone number: USA 800-528-2856, International: 770-325-4737
6. When
asked, enter the same conference ID on the phone as well: 2816556

Peter,
Thanks. I started entering some components, but it is difficult with
different attributes. I can't make it to the meeting.

That's excellent news. Welcome aboard. I can help you out on
finding mappings to the EPF meta-model and all conceptual questions. We
should set-up a call in which we can discuss initial details. I assume
that you will not be able to come to the committers meeting next week on
such short notice, but we can talk directly after that meeting.
My colleague Kelvin Low (klow@xxxxxxxxxx) is working on the XML port, so
he might be the right one to turn to for technical questions in that area.

[epf-dev] OPEN Process Framework Repository
On behalf of the OPEN Process Framework Repository Organization
(www.opfro.org) and the OPEN Consortium (http://www.open.org.au/), I
would like to officially announce that we will be donating our complete
OPFRO repository of over 1,100 reusable, open-source method components
to the eclipse epf project as an additional third repository.
Currently, our repository is based on the OPEN Metamodel, but we will
shortly begin translating it to fit the epf SPEM metamodel and
associated xml xsd. We will also be working over the next few weeks to
determine what level of effort support we can donate to epf.
