Re: [emf-dev] New and sexy "Eclipse Community Forums"

Marcelo:

It's a bit of a mystery to me. I had a quick look for the project that I own (M2T), and it was already there. I cannot recall doing anything recently to the project meta-data.

I do have a 'newsgroup' entry (value is eclipse.modeling.m2t). I wonder whether that is the missing piece of information.

I think Ed (as project lead) is the only one with access to the EMF meta-data.

Hi,

Dennis has blogged about the new interface to the newsgroups:
http://www.eclipse.org/forums/

I took it for a spin and immediately noticed that the EMF newsgroup is not there. When I asked about it on
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=284281, the answer was:

"
Ask the EMF project to use the Portal and update their project meta-data."

I have to confess that I am not sure what this means. That said, if it is not too complicated to do both things, we should probably do so. I can volunteer some of my time if properly educated on the subject ;-)
