Please don't use the mailing lists for
questions. Use the newsgroups.
Everyone is already swamped answering
specific questions so a general question like this is unlikely to produce
much in the way of results for you. Given that what you want to
do is currently done by teams of people, perhaps your goal is over ambitious.
Since everything is open source, you can certainly go and look at
how similar things are implemented. You might want to use EMF to
design a model from which you will generate and use GMF to generate much
of your initial GUI. Both projects have documentation and tutorials
for getting started...

Hello Everybody,
I am a student and I am new to eclipse
platform. I want to develop my own tool for web based development like
Visual Editor or JSF GUI Editor which should generate the source code too.
Can anybody tell me from where I should start. Can anybody send me some
help material or link.
