Re: [emf-dev] loading from XMLSchema

Please use the news group for questions.  (Perhaps your schema really does have errors in it or perhaps there are stack traces in the workspace/.metadata/.log that would give you a clue.)

Subject
[emf-dev] loading from XMLSchema

Hi There,
I am trying to do the EMF tutorial at
http://download.eclipse.org/tools/emf/scripts/docs.php?doc=tutorials/xlibmod/xlibmod.html.
I have checked the pre-requisites and it seems to have everything it
needs. But when I try to load model from XMLSchema in an EMF project, I
get the " Specify a valid XML Schema and try loading again" error. I
downloaded the xerces-2_6_2 and restarted Eclipse from commandline as
"eclipse -vmargs -Djava.endorsed.dirs=c:\eclipse-30\xerces-2_6_2\", but
the problem did not go away. Please note that out of the 4 links to
download xerces from at
http://download.eclipse.org/tools/emf/scripts/downloads-xerces.php, the
first one from eclipse.org did not work. I downloaded it from apache.org
directly. I will appreciate if someone could let me know the correct fix
for problem.

Thanks,
Zulfi
