Re: [emf-dev] [documentations] isn't it time for updating the documentations
|
Joseph,
We are updating the existing documentation to reflect the latest versions,
but we don't have time to add more at this time. There is a book on EMF
that will be available in August that provides lots of detailed
information.

Hi all
Isn't it time to update the documentations of emf
the documentations goes to 2002 , and not even complete
now there's release 1.0.2 and we are going for 1.1.0 and there's no
documentations especially for the emf.edit framework
i guess developing emf without documentations make the developers using emf
moves too slow in using emf and knowing theĀ best practices.
also a note for java doc:
why not every class and interface in the java doc mention if it's intended
to be extended by the user or not the same as eclipse platform write...
Thanks
Best regards,
