No, please create an issue to Eclipse Platform to customize that with a preferences. I think it's important that @Mickael Istria is aware about this feature.

To be honnest with you, my work on Git mining, it's a POC to validate capability of coide mining, so I'm aware to do anything:). Please create an issue at https://github.com/angelozerr/jdt-codemining/issues
