[egit-dev] Missing menu item on cdt

I'm using Kepler 2, cdt  and egit on Mac mavericks. Right click on c++ project (cross compiler avr) shows only "patch" under Team, as I I can't create a git repo for the project. If I create a bare project, I can check it in just fine. 

I've installed exact same toolset under Ubuntu and all works fine. Am I missing something or should I open a bug?
