Hi Robin,

FYI, Axel is also working on windows, so his patches have already been 
tested on that OS ;). Adding him as a CC since he is in the process of 
subscribing to egit-dev ;).

For the remainder of the patches pertaining to the symlinks topics, I'll 
let him answer about what he has already tested before looking into it 
myself.
