Btw, It's the current text editor, not the selection in the package explorer
that seems to control this. At some point in time the interpretation of 
"currently selected resource" changed from selected resource to current
editor, presumably because the package explorer forgot what was selected
when the view was changed. I think it was platform dependent too. A pity.
