The github connector isn't handling integration between EGit and Mylyn

but integration with GitHub. 

Get "org.eclipse.egit.mylyn.ui" either from 

http://download.eclipse.org/egit/updates

or http://download.eclipse.org/release/juno

or if you want the latest nightly:
http://download.eclipse.org/egit/updates-nightly

I installed the GitHub Mylyn Connector. I didn't see EGit Mylyn Plugin in the Eclipse marketplace, do I have to download it from somewhere else? I also have "EGit - Git Team Provider" from marketplace installed.

I am trying to setup a commit template for Git from within Eclipse. I have a template but it is not populating. I installed both EGit and GitHub EGit plugin from Eclipse Marketplace and am running 4.2. Two screenshots are attached.

- Did you install the EGit Mylyn Plugin "org.eclipse.egit.mylyn.ui" which

  is implementing this integration (not the GitHub plugin) ?

- Did you activate the task which should populate the commit message ?
