I have been using EGit 1.2 nightly builds for a while but unfortunately, I keep getting this bug:

IMO, this is a big regression compared to EGit 1.1 and it affects a fairly common workflow (using Git Repo view and a "Linked" History view). Maybe this should be fixed before releasing 1.2?

I can't reproduce this problem using todays nightly (which is built from stable-1.2 currently) 

and can't reproduce your problem (I tried on Mac OS X 10.6.8 using a freshly installed SDK)
