Re: [egit-dev] sucky TCP connections to foundation servers

I have experienced this on many occasions to egit, but not to www. Is this becaue the virtual host is under resourced and is swapping to death, or competing for resources on the hw that it is running on?

Hi Shawn,

I never had any issues with CVS and WWW. There were some complains
recently. But maybe the bandwidth is really saturated.

I cc'ed the webmaster just in case they know something and to make them
aware of your issues.

Is it just me, or do foundation servers sometimes just never
establish a TCP connection? About half of the connections I try
to make to egit.eclipse.org just never open. This is true for
everything:

- Gerrit SSHD on 29418
- git-daemon on 9418
- Apache on 80
- system OpenSSH on 22

I even see problems with www.eclipse.org and bugs.eclipse.org not
responding sometimes. But egit.eclipse.org is way more pronounced.

WTF?
