[egit-dev] Bugs and patches

I submitted https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=291133 a week or so ago (admittedly, against the wrong version of JGit, which has since been tidied up by Mykola - thanks!) - do I need to submit this again through Gerrit to get it flowing in to master? Yes, Gerrit is great but it might be a good idea to have some formal documentation process for what happens when a bug has a patch and is awaiting to be reviewed/applied.

Perhaps we could use bugzilla's keywords to indicate that a patch is available? Renaming the subject is also another possibility, but I'm not sure you can change another person's subject unless you're a committer on that project (which might therefore discourage those who wish to provide patches on other people's bug reports).
