Looks good to me. Just as a comment - are we going to continue to use
mail to the egit-dev mailing list as a way of approving patches, or go
via the bugzilla route?

Well, Robin and I are both used to email... and it fits well into
the git workflow with am and format-patch. Anyone have scripts
for Bugzilla that make it as convienent as email is?

Using Mylyn makes it pretty painless for uploading/applying patches (at least, for other team providers). It will definitely be the way that other Eclipse projects will want to work rather than mail. And to be honest, the most problems I've had with contributing so far have been with mail and getting the right format/processing invocations to be able to work properly. So for me, bugzilla is more convenient than e-mail, but in both cases, it's what you're used to that's more convenient rather than a direct usability of each.

Also ... are you using Egit to generate these mails, or Egit to do the work/commit/add, and then drop down to the command line to fire off the mail? Arguably, we should aim for a situation where one doesn't need to do that with eGit at all.
