Re: [ee4j-community] Have Eclipse DemoCamps or Hackathons ended?

Ralph,

Thanks a lot for the update. Glad to hear they are still around.
Will the code name for the release train after this year's Photon be dropped in favor of calling it "Eclipse 2019/1" or was there just no visible name vote any more?

I'd be happy to participate in one or the other DemoCamp especially in Germany if I can.
And thanks to JSR 385 contributors who are based in Norway either myself or one of them could also offer someting for Trondheim, if that continues as it did in late summer...

We may have some Whiskey at Macbeth again ;-)

Hi,

While many companies tend to focus on a few "Usual Suspects" among Java,
Eclipse or similar developer conferences (mostly DevoXX, EclipseCon and
JavaOne) others held a lot of DemoCamps over the years and one or two
cities (especially Hamburg) also hosted Eclipse Hackathons:
https://wiki.eclipse.org/Eclipse_DemoCamp

The "Upcoming DemoCamps" list does not exist for 2018. Has this format been
abandoned?

Werner

Hello Werner,

you are right, we are a little late with getting things in shape. As a matter of fact, I have just yesterday created the new wiki page for the 2018 demo camps. You can find it here: https://wiki.eclipse.org/Eclipse_DemoCamps_2018 <https://wiki.eclipse.org/Eclipse_DemoCamps_2018>

Webmaster will put a link to that page on https://wiki.eclipse.org <https://wiki.eclipse.org/> as soon as possible.

Thanks!

Regards / Liebe Gr??e,

Ralph Mueller
