For what it's worth, there is actually a very new (since early 2017) TLD called "ee" associated to Estonia. A bit similar to the Slovenian TLD "si" which I found a perfect match for http://www.uom.si/ to manifest the SI System on top of JSR 363.

Have a look at https://internet.ee/en

The obvious "java.ee" has been registered in Summer by Oracle.

And what a coincidence, only about 2 weeks ago this was registered:

They look like domain traders (or grabbers, depending on how you view it) and should be open to negotiation if this was the best package namespace for EE4J.

It would certainly be uniquely short, but maybe something like "org.ee4j" or "io.ee4j" is preferred after all?;-)
