As Matt mentioned in his note, EDT builds
will be running 'on demand' for the near future while we try to declare
an M3 build.

The 20111024_0900 EDT build will be
our first M3 candidate, and limited regression testing will be taking place
over the next 24 hours.  If any significant issues are found by these
tests, we will run a new build once a fix is available and continue with
our regression testing.  

While we are working to declare an M3
build, all EDT developers should avoid releasing code in CVS if it involves
a significant change.  Minor changes and updates can still be released,
but keep in mind that these changes will be included in M3 if we need to
run a new M3 build.  Another note will be sent to the EDT mailing
list once an M3 build has been declared.

This morning's EDT build is the last build to run on the regular 9 AM /
9 PM schedule until we have our Milestone 3 build.  We'll run builds
"on demand" in order to pick up important fixes.  We'll
resume the twice-daily schedule after M3.
