[eclipselink-users] replace object-relational links with xml binding

Eclipselink users,

I am reviewing an open source software project, seeking to replace the 
Mysql database with Xml documents as database objects (create an Xml 
database and use Xquery, Xpath standards to access the database).

So far I am reading a document 'Eclipselink2.5 (October 2013)'.

Any advice how to start a this process of replacement?
