In EclipseLink 1.1, we released a new component called DBWS which is I
believe close to what you want.
An EclipseLink DBWS services is a JAX-WS 2.0-compliant Web service that
talks 'ORM' to the database
and 'OXM' to the SOAP messages sent by the Web service's clients.
