Re: [eclipselink-users] How to specify jar file location for entities using properties programatically

Kris,

Keep in mind that the jar file can be a relative path. Hopefully that helps when moving between environments.

Hi Tom
I had all my other properties set programmatically and also because the location of the jar file changes as we move from one env to other env. I want to keep the persistence.xml file at bare minimum.. Thanks EclipseLink Team for your responses. Kris

    Hi,

Unfortunately, the only place to add a jar file is through the
    <jar-file> element in persistence.xml.

What do you hope to gain by specifying the jar file as a property?
