Subject: [eclipse.org-project-leadership] Eclipse Award and EclipseCon

Project Leaders,

We are starting to organize EclipseCon 2013.  There are a number of areas where Eclipse project leaders can participate and help create a great event.

1.       Each year we organize the Eclipse Community Awards. We need a number of project leaders to be judges to help select the awards for the best developer products in the Eclipse ecosystem. Judging will take less than 8 hours over a period of mid-January to mid-February. If you would like to be a judge please let me know.

2.       We would like to encourage Eclipse projects to have face-to-face project meetings at EclipseCon. We will have extra meeting rooms at the conference center, so if you would like to reserve a room for a project meeting please let me know.

3.       Finally, please encourage your project committers and adopters to submit ideas to speak at EclipseCon. The deadline for the call for papers is November 19, 2012 so there is not a lot of time left. More details are available at http://www.eclipsecon.org/2013/econsubmissions

Thank you for help and I hope to see you in Boston for EclipseCon 2013.

Regards,

Ian
