Re: [eclipse.org-planning-council] Respin Request - Re: Heads-Up: [eclipse-pmc] [cross-project-issues-dev] Fw: Xtext is broken in Oxygen 1a

So far no objections for a respin.

In the meantime we have produced an Eclipse Platform/SDK build with all the fixes: http://download.eclipse.org/eclipse/downloads/drops4/M20171009-0410/. Those affected, please test and report back.

Can we assume a +1 for the respin if no objections come in until 12:00 noon EDT?

Mickaël and Markus, what is the timeline to produce the final release?

Dani

Given the seriousness of this problem, I would suggest we do a respin anyway, and would argue we should fix the internal signature at the same time. In return, the XText team should commit to getting off the use of that method asap, with our help to add missing (actual) API as needed.
