Re: [eclipse.org-planning-council] Proposed new day for November meeting -- postponed

My apologies, for both postponing and for giving late notice of it.

But, the primary purpose of this meeting today was to go over a more detailed schedule of the 3 updates per year proposal -- and I have not managed to find time to do that. So, I think the meeting would not be worth while.

I will re-schedule soon, but will wait until I get that 2016/2017 calendar updated.

Thanks,

Nick, and other members,

Since Nick is the only one that has said they can't make a meeting on Monday, 11/9, and since I don't want to wait too long before our next meeting, I will go ahead and plan on holding our next meeting on Monday, 11/9, 1:00 Eastern. [And, since one person asked, I will tell everyone, it is only at 1:00 for this one meeting, just due to my schedule on Mondays ... no plan to always be "later", and I know it is already late enough for many of you.]

If needed, we can schedule an extra meeting, before December, since we need to finish our plan by M4. Unless everyone agrees, and nothing controversial is pending.

I will make an effort to have some agenda and some issues written early so if anyone wants to "weigh in" early, you can (assuming I can indeed finish some items early). The largest one is to have a detailed schedule that would show how the update releases of Neon, would overlap the milestones of Neon-plus-one.

This is always true, but if anyone can not make a particular meeting, you can always send a delegate -- something I highly recommend, since absence implies agreement with whatever we come up with -- mostly. :)

All, do be thinking about any clarifications, removals, or new requirements you think we should specify for Neon -- please get input and "buy-in" from your projects and principles.

Remember to be sure to talk to your projects and principles about having three update releases per year, instead of two.  I think everyone thinks it is a good idea ... but, not sure everyone has thought through what extra work and testing it might imply for their projects.

Thanks,

I won't be able to make any dates between Nov 8 and 15. What about the
week after?
