I personally think the vote was close enough
that it would deserve a "run
off vote" .. but, I have
no objection, if the Council just thinks "Mercury" is the better
alternative.

I'm going to close the poll today but here's what we have:

Magellan: 23 %
Mandelbrot: 7 %
Mars: 12 %
Mercury: 26 %
Meridian: 7 %
Metis: 3 %
Mira: 14 %
Mimas: 2 %
Mithril: 7 %

Total votes: 407

The two clear winners are Mercury and Magellan. I plan
on asking the EMO to investigate if Mercury is a suitable name and fall
to Magellan as a backup if it isn't. If both names don't work, we may do
another poll.

Does that sound OK to everyone?
