Re: [eclipse.org-planning-council] Exception to include m2e-wtp in Kepler

+1 from me.

I see there is a separate question on whether an incubating component is desired in the EPP package, but even without EPP inclusion m2e-wtp could participate as an add-on.

Greetings Planning Council.

The Technology PMC requests an exception to allow m2e-wtp to join Kepler late.

The project made their 0.16 release in September 2012. Their 0.17 release is scheduled for Feb. 20. They have demonstrated to me that they are familiar with the Eclipse Development Process.

The have a mature build based on the CBI (using Hudson and Tycho):

http://git.eclipse.org/c/m2e-wtp/org.eclipse.m2e.wtp.git/tree/pom.xml
https://hudson.eclipse.org/hudson/job/m2e-wtp-kepler-nightly/

They have a growing and thriving user community:

The project has taken steps to be included in the Java EE package:

https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=350150

I believe that the project is dedicating the necessary resources to participate in Kepler.

Your +1s are requested.

Thanks,

Wayne
