The Agent Modeling Platform (http://www.eclipse.org/proposals/amp/) is a proposed open source project under the Eclipse Modeling project. The primary focus of AMP is Agent-Based Modeling (ABM), an innovative technique used to explore complex phenomena in many domains, including economics, social sciences, bio-medicine, ecology and business operations.
