| Hello all, Below are declarations for two Eclipse project proposals. Thanks. ---------------- Declaration for the Albireo Project The Swing/SWT Integration (Albireo) project (http://www.eclipse.org/proposals/albireo/) is a proposed open-source project under the Eclipse Technology Project. Currently, adopters of the Eclipse RCP have been using the SWT_AWT bridge for basic support while integrating SWT with AWT/Swing. The Albireo project will build on the SWT_AWT bridge to provide more complete Swing/SWT integration, resulting in a better "out-of-the-box" experience and more credibility for the entire notion of Swing/SWT integration. VPP is intended to collect a number of smaller technologies that, when combined, will enable Eclipse to be used for the tasks associated with constructing, debugging, visualizing, analyzing, and using (models of) systems constructed from components that may be based on hardware or software, or a combination of both.
