I am very pleased to announce that the nominees[1] for the 2018
Eclipse Foundation Board[2] election[3] have been published. Thank
you to all of the nominees for putting their names forward!
This year's election will be for two Committer and two Sustaining
Member representatives. The terms of office are from April 1,
2018 to March 31, 2019.
The positions of Sustaining Members and Committer representatives
are a vitally important part of the Eclipse Foundation's
governance. I highly encourage everyone to consider participating
in the election process by reading the position statements, and
contacting the nominees with any questions.
As we had only two people put their names forward for the
Sustaining Member representatives, Tracy Miranda and Torkild Ulvøy
Resheim will remain in their positions by acclamation. Voting for
the Committer representatives will open on February 12th. Voting
credentials for all eligible committers will be emailed
beforehand.

January 4, 2018: Nominations open. To nominate someone,

January 26, 2018: Nominations close
January 31, 2018: Deadline for nominees to return their
content to elections@xxxxxxxxxxx
February 1, 2018: List of nominees published on
www.eclipse.org
February 2, 2018: Individual pages ready for candidate
review
February 6, 2018: Nominees' personal pages made available on
www.eclipse.org
February 12, 2018: Voting begins
March 1, 2018: Voting ends at 3pm Eastern time
March 6, 2018: New representatives announced
