Eclipse Members and Committers, This is a reminder that the Eclipse Foundation Annual Members' Meeting will take place Monday, March 22 in Hyatt Hotel, Santa Clara (same location as EclipseCon). We would like to invite all members and committer members to attend this meeting. Jeffrey Hammond from Forrester Research will be the guest speaker. The meeting will also feature a panel discussion to explore the future direction of the Eclipse Foundation. A detailed agenda is below. Eclipse Foundation Annual Members' Meeting Monday, March 22 1:30-5:00 Camino Real, Hyatt Hotel Santa Clara, CA Agenda 1. Introductions 2. Guest Speaker: Jeffrey Hammond, Forrester Research - Application Development Trends in 2010 and Beyond Description: Jeffrey Hammond, a principal analyst at Forrester Research, is an expert in understanding and researching software application development trends. During this talk Jeffrey will present his current research on how companies and developers are using technology to accelerate application development. He will also discuss how Eclipse is being used in large corporate IT shops and look into the impact Eclipse may have in the future. 3. Project Updates - e4 Update - Gemini - Virgo 4. Executive Director Report Description: Mike Milinkovich, Executive Director of the Eclipse Foundation will update the membership of the activities of the past year and the plans for 2010. 5. Panel Discussion: Eclipse Foundation in 2015 Description: This panel discussion will explore the opportunities and challenges for the Eclipse Foundation over the next 5 years. This will be an opportunity for the Eclipse membership to have an open discussion on the direction they would like to see for the Foundation. 6.
