for information that was given on each event): 2. Training series 3. e4 –
webinars & feedback contest 1. Eclipse October 27-29. 2009 -The call for papers closes this next Tuesday, August 18,
2009 http://www.eclipsecon.org/summiteurope2009/submissions -59 submissions received so far, so slots are still
available -Available formats are long talks, short talks, symposia and
tutorials, and track topics are embedded, IDEs, modeling, runtime and other new
& noteworthy -In particular, the program committee is still looking for
more consumer stories and submissions about embedded -Registration is open already http://www.eclipsecon.org/summiteurope2009/registration/ -Only 1 sponsor spot on the exhibit hall’s upper level
is open, plus spots are available on the lower level http://www.eclipsecon.org/summiteurope2009/sponsorship/ -The deadline to sign up and get in the printed program is
September 15 -Tina suggested reminding sponsors of the program ad cost –
the cost is less than what was originally emailed out for colour ads 3. Training series -A new training series is being planned for October
19-December 4 -The courses we will offer are Developing with RCP, Advanced
RCP, Equinox and Modeling -The Foundation will provide a centralized registration
system and help promote -Members that participate use common course outlines which are
currently being drafter -Members can choose their locations and which courses they

end of June -We’re promoting e4 as they would like feedback on the
release and are hoping to attract more contributors -There will be 2 webinars on August 18 and August 26 http://www.eclipse.org/community/e4webinar/abstracts.php -There is also a feedback contest where people can blog a
