Eclipse Training Series http://www.eclipse.org/community/training/2008fall.php November 3-December 12, 2008 Worldwide -Eclipse member companies are offering 50+ training classes
in 32 cities on RCP, Equinox and Modeling -Members run the training and the Foundation provides
marketing and a centralized registration system -Press release went out Sep. 9 -Early bird discount is being offered until Oct. 3 2. Market Research -The Foundation was planning a market research study on the
user community, however it was cancelled due to lack of interest 3. DemoCamps http://wiki.eclipse.org/Eclipse_DemoCamps_November_2008 November 1-30, 2008 Worldwide -Eclipse is organizing its 3rd DemoCamp series -DemoCamps are informal events organized around the world to
show off what people are doing with Eclipse -The Foundation provides support by funding food and

Developers to Listen by Matthew Schmidt of Dzone/JavaLobby, Actuate Case Study on developer marketing
by Rich Guth of Actuate, How to Get Good
Press by Alan Zeichick of SD Times and BZ Media, Leveraging the eclipse.org Web Site by
Donald Smith of the Eclipse Foundation and What
are Developers Using in Eclipse by Ian Skerrett of the Eclipse
Foundation -There is no cost to attend the symposium -Also, there will be an Eclipse Members’ Meeting on
