A summary of what David/Ketan mentioned on the call with additional details:
Bjorn, could you confirm the possibility of travel budgets for folks
from a non-eclipse community who will be good candidates for such a
panel ? A few interesting names that come to mind are Ron Jeffries, Kent
Beck.
Here's some names that David and myself came up with. These names are a
starting point, we've not got in touch with any of these.
We expect some bit of overlap with the panel that Bjorn is volunteering
(or volunteered for :P). Hopefully we'll see more names come up in this
conversation.
To make the panel interesting, one of the thought was to get a good mix
of people who are for, against and on the fence as far as the practice
of testing is concerned.
So here goes:
- Kevin Taylor
- Dave Orme (Coconut palm software) haven't seen him blog in ages
- Uncle Bob assuming he's around for the keynote
- David Carver :)
- Myself :)
As far as moderators are concerned someone who is well known in the
community to help drive discussions would be great. Chris, Mik or Wayne
would be good candidates.
Thoughts, comments ?
