Updates.
Submission system at http://www.eclipsecon.org/2010/submissions/
has been updated for this conference, but is still a work in progress.
There are 58 days left to the December deadline for submissions, BTW,
so we're trying to get this sorted asap.
Don has come up with some nice attendee p.o.v. figures which are
worth repeating:
In 2009, attendee could attend at most 2 tutorials. In 2010, they
can attend 4.
In 2009, attendee could hit 4 BOF sessions. In 2010, they can
potentially attend 6.
In 2009, attendee could hit 16 regular sessions. In 2010, they
can hit 15.
No progress that I know of on the Uncle Bob gig as yet.
Today
--------
* Panel recruiters - any feedback, progress, etc?
* Quality vs. Length of talks - some discussion to be had
* Next week is ESE - currently planning to cancel the call
* Anything else from the PC...
Note - the concern re: large amount of panels (Wayne's point
from last week) has not evaporated. I would like us to hold
firm from revisiting until week after after recruiting more
panellists at ESE, when things are more concrete.
cheers
