See I was the same way for a while...that is until I implemented the various practices and used them for a while. Now I can't see going back the other way. Like everything take what works, and modify the rest to fit the current needs and problems. One thing Uncle Bob does do whether you agree with him or not, is at least make one think about what they are doing. He gets discussions going, and part of evolving anything in this field is to challenge our own assumptions.

I am not a big fan of the software craftsmanship, agile, TDD line of. I have heard the talks, seen the videos, and read the books... And I remain a bit of a skeptic. It all comes across as a bit Pedantic. If you only adopt/ our/ methodology than suddenly your projects will succeed, the sun will shine, and you we will all have puppies for Christmas.
