Not sure if we’ve formally kicked off keynote ideas, but one that I have is Mala Devlin.

 

She’s recently published a new book called “Software Soul” which has been getting some good reviews:

She is also responsible for the deployment and use of Eclipse to an audience of 15,000 developers within her organization (Cisco), and not afraid to pull any punches on the pros and cons of Eclipse as it is today.

 

She would provide a great end-user focus and clearly has the scale, experience and has taken the time to collect and publish her thoughts.  Moreover, I have met Mala several times and can vouch that she definitely has the presence to deliver a great keynote.
